| About this painting: At the end of the inlet called Clam Pass, is a wonderful world of salt water marsh where sea birds and long legs come to feed and nest. My favorite of the long legs are the White Ibis and I look for every opportunity to paint them. During mating season, their usually dull red beaks turn bright red. During high tide, the shoals and sand bar islands disappear and the Ibis come further up the beach into camera range. |
