| About this painting: Along the Canal is a composite of many of the places I have been in my life. On long flights, I sketch idealistic village street scenes with watercolor pencils. When I return to my studio, I select the ones I want to pursue and develop large paintings from these sketches. "Along the Canal" is one of these. |
