| About this painting: This beautiful mature white Ibis is so elegant moving slowly through the water. It was a day where the mudflats below the clear water were reflecting the sunlight and making the entire scene glow. Ibis are flock birds and we have them by the thousands in our Mangroves at Pelican Bay. Each evening they gather and settle into a group of trees on the north side of Clam Bay. Each morning if you are up early, you can watch them all leave within minutes of each other in great flocks of white. |
