| About this painting: 'Scarlet Macaws' is the fourth in my large parrot series. My inspiration for this painting came during a trip to visit the rain forest canopy and tropical birds of Costa Rica, Panama and Columbia. A climb to the top of a mountain and looking down on these brilliantly colored wild Macaws soaring just above the forest canopy was breathtaking and set the tone of how to paint the Scarlets. In addition to the original, I am able to offer a gallery wrapped limited edition on canvas which is still quite large. The full size original and the 54" by 36" canvas print, makes quite a statement for a large wall, and imbues the room with a tropical feel.
