| About this painting: This is the second in my Toco Series. Toucans are facinating birds, and are very different from Parrots. My favorite Toucan is the "Toco." These gentle birds are found througout Central America. Because a Toco is mainly black, I wanted to place him in an environment that would contrast with his stark coloring. Placing Toco in the center of a grove of colorful wild Bouganvillea made him the centerpiece with his little butterfly friend. This is a wonderful addition to a child's room. |
